B-BBEE Verification<\/strong><\/p>\n

B-BBEE Verification verification services forms the core of our service offerings.\u00a0 Companies are verified in line with the DTI\u2019s Codes of Good Practice on B-BBEE.<\/p>\n

The verification is also dependent on the sector the measured entity falls under and PraBee is accredited to verify entities an various sector Codes of Good Practice.\u00a0 Companies can be verified in any of the following scorecards;<\/p>\n

  • Exempted Micro Enterprises (EMEs) : Annual Turnover of <R10m<\/li>\n
  • Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSEs) : Annual Turnover of R10m \u2013 R49.9m<\/li>\n
  • Generic Scorecard (Generic) : Annual Turnover of +R50m<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Sector Specific B-BBEE Verification<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Companies are required be verified in the specific sector Charter Codes.\u00a0 These are some of the sector specific Codes;<\/p>\n

    • Construction Sector Codes<\/li>\n
    • Defense Sector Codes<\/li>\n
    • Financial Services Sector Codes (FSC)<\/li>\n
    • Forest Sector Codes<\/li>\n
    • ICT Sector Codes (Information Communication Technologies)<\/li>\n
    • MAC Sector Codes (Marketing Advertising and Communications)<\/li>\n
    • Transport Sector Codes<\/li>\n
    • Tourism Sector Codes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Supplier B-BBEE Verification<\/strong><\/p>\n

      One of the elements that carries most points on the scorecard is the Procurement sub-element of Enterprise Supplier Development element.\u00a0 Procurement looks at how compliant are the suppliers to the measure entity and lack of compliance by suppliers of a measured entity has a direct negative impact to the Procurement element and therefore to the overall scorecard of the measured entity.<\/p>\n

      Measured entities therefore places Procurement at a strategic and high priority or radar and even develop initiatives aimed at intervening to ensure compliance by their suppliers.<\/p>\n

      This offerings is in response to these initiatives and PraBee will verify strategic suppliers on behalf of a company.\u00a0 PraBee applies the Codes and SANAS processes when verifying all enterprises.<\/p>\n

      Our B-BBEE professionals conduct training on the Codes, the verification process as well as sector specific.\u00a0 It is important that companies understand the need for B-BBEE and therefore the expectations and requirements as per the legislation.\u00a0 The more companies are acquainted to B-BBEE the higher the compliance levels and implementation successes.
